Dartboard
Cabinets
Many people have dartboards at home but it's also a good
idea to invest in a dartboard
cabinet as well. There are three major benefits:
Firstly if you are still learning the game, you may
occasionally miss the board completely when throwing for a
double, which will obviously damage your wall. However a
surrounding cabinet will prevent this absorb these errant
throws.
Secondly a cabinet will always include a score board so
you can easily score your games, whether it's a blackboard or a
whiteboard.
Finally after you've finished playing darts, you can simply
close the cabinet, and you will generally find that a closed
cabinet looks a lot better in the house than a manky old
dartboard with lots of holes in it.
Dartboard cabinets are relatively cheap, ie £25-£35, and you
can either buy them separately from your dartboard, or you can
buy them as a package, in which case they will obviously be
slightly more expensive.
