Dartboards
It's natural to assume that all dartboards are pretty much the same, but
they do differ slightly. For example, some dartboards will have
ultra thin wires, resulting in fewer bounceouts and heavier
scoring, whilst others, such as the Winmau boards that are
used by the BDO, will have slightly thicker wires.
Plus they may also differ in quality somewhat. For example
the cheaper dart boards will often have the numbers printed
around the edge instead of using the traditional wire numbers,
and they may also wear out a lot quicker than some of the
quality dartboards from the likes of Winmau and Unicorn.
Ultimately it's up to you to decide how much you want to pay
for a dartboard, but they are all fairly cheap nowadays. Even
the most expensive ones are no more than around £30 or £40.
If you are interested in buying a dartboard, I can recommend
you check out Darts Corner because they have over 50 different
